Acero Precision will continue as both a marketing partner and a key technical supplier to Patron Highcroft Racing for the 2010 American Le Mans Series.
The 2009 ALMS LMP1 Class Champions will bid to defend their title in the newly formulated ALMS prototype class that combines LMP1 and LMP2 class machinery into a single prototype class. With the continued support of Honda Performance Development, the Danbury, Connecticut- based squad will enter a modified ARX-01c chassis with last year’s title winning driver David Brabham and new recruit Simon Pagenaud sharing the driving duty.
“Our partnership with Patron Highcroft Racing is invaluable. Besides providing brand exposure and other marketing opportunities, collaborating with the team on the rapid development and deployment of critically precise parts for the race car that are tested to the limit under the most grueling conditions. This offers us immediate technology feedback, which we can then incorporate into systems and processes for all of our clients,” says Acero President and CEO, Michael Fitzgerald. The 2010 American Le Mans Series will comprise nine races beginning with the classic 12 Hours of Sebring on March 20 and wrapping up with Petit Le Mans on October 2.<< Back to News
